Our tour

Tossa de Mar

Tossa de Mar is an essentially Mediterranean town that has maintained its character as a fishing village and has worked hard to preserve its surroundings.

The coastline, interspersed with numerous beaches and coves, is one of the most emblematic landscapes of the Costa Brava.

This natural beauty is complemented by its important historical and artistic heritage, whose main elements include: the walled enclosure of the “Vila Vella” (13th century), declared a historical artistic monument and the only example of a fortified medieval town that still exists on the Catalan coast; the archaeological remains of the “Dels Ametllers” Roman Villa (1st century BC – 6th century AD), one of the most interesting in this ancient Roman province; and the collections of paintings of what was once the first Museum of Contemporary Art on the Peninsula.
